Sea Max M-22 Aircraft

About the SeaMax M-22

The SeaMax M-22 amphibious aircraft is the only S-LSA flying boat in the world today. Since the FAA’s groundbreaking regulatory changes created the new Light Sport Aircraft category in 2004, famed aeronautical engineer Miguel Rosario has been leading the industry, designing the M-22 in 1998, flying the prototype in 2001 and introducing the first factory produced M-22 in 2002.

Today, with more than 7 years of the FAA’s relaxed guidelines in the Light Sport Category, the certification and availability of the M-22 make this aircraft the most successful amphibious S-LSA in the world. It is SeaMax’s intention to continue to improve and transform the industry, making its affordable aircraft available to the ever-growing population that shares our fascination with advanced recreational activities.

With safety always a priority, the SeaMax M-22 is designed to deliver an experience that is both exhilarating and functional.  With its amphibious floating hull design, the M-22 takes its pilots and passengers to an array of destinations in diversified conditions that few can ever reach.   After years spent developing 21 other designs before it and 125 planes flying in over 22 countries, the SeaMax M-22 is the most proven certified flying boat S-LSA in the world today.  The M-22 is a bold, yet elegant design that combines the rewards of beauty, performance, safety, and excitement!
